ScentsAbility Candles represents the WORK Pillar of The IDDeal Foundation, offering opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through the Work, Live & Play initiative. The emphasis at ScentsAbility Candles is on ABILITY rather than DISABILITY. They create adaptive tools and processes that enable all Artisans to engage in the candle-making process. Their job training program emphasizes practical skills such as measuring, pouring, wicking, packaging, selling, and customer service. ScentsAbility provides additional support as needed, ensuring everyone can contribute meaningfully to the community.

Since its establishment in 2012, ScentsAbility Candles, a non-profit organization, has been offering job training and has received a United States Congressional Proclamation, along with numerous awards for its commitment to the I/DD community. As a proud member of the National Candle Association, ScentsAbility Candles are crafted with high-quality raw materials, including IGI 6006 and 6036 wax, generously donated by IGI for over seven years. Recently, ScentsAbility was featured on The Today Show.
