The IGI candle waxes include a full line of innovative paraffin wax, vegetable wax, and hybrid wax formulations for jar filled and pillar/votive candles each tailored for the varying needs of a diverse customer base. As a leader in formulated waxes for the candle industry, we invite you to experience the advantages IGI blends will offer your candle business.

All PARAFFLEX waxes in the EZ Pour and EZ Form line are designed to be used without the addition of additives (except for UV stabilizers, if necessary). EZ Pour^TM Container Candle Waxes

IGI's EZ Pour candle blend lineup is offered in three categories: Value, Performance, and Premium Performance. For more detailed information, please refer to the TIS or PIS sheet of the particular product.

Value Blends

• Engineered to meet performance and economic criteria for today's challenging, high-volume candle manufacturing market
• Designed to meet manufacturing parameters such as appearance, burn, and slump tests
• Currently available in bulk liquid tank truck or railcar only

Performance Blends

• Uses more elaborate combinations of additives and base materials compared to Value blends.
• Generally can accommodate high fragrance loads (in non-mottling blends) with improved scent throw properties
• Mottling and Palm grades tested to ensure correct surface appearance

PARAFFLEX 4630A		Opaque/subtle colors can be achieved. Semi-gloss top finish.	Soft	Economical single pour blend in containers up to 16 oz. Good adherence to container/jar wall can be achieved under optimal pour conditions. 8-10% fragrance loading and good hot/cold throw can be achieved.
PARAFFLEX 4786		Smooth, creamy, and opaque; able to achieve vibrant colors. Matte appearance.	Hard	Multiple pour to achieve level surface. Good adherence to container wall can be obtained under optimal pour conditions. Suitable for hotter climates. Need to protect against temperature fluctuations during transport and storage. 5-8% fragrance loading and good hot/cold throw can be achieved.
Mottling Blends IGI 1286A		Mottled appearance	Hard	Multiple pour to achieve level surface. Good adherence to container wall and maximum mottling can be obtained under optimal conditions. Need to protect against heat during transport and storage, as this may affect mottled appearance. 4-6% fragrance loading and good hot/cold throw can be achieved.
Palm Wax R2322A		Crystal Pattern	Hard	Palm wax that gives full crystalline appearance with bold color contrasts.

High Performance Blends

• Utilizes best available base materials and additives to make waxes suitable for "high-end" candles. non-mottling blends) with improved scent throw properties
• High fragrance loads possible with excellent cold/hot throw properties
• Excellent burn properties when used with proper wick system

Parafflex 4642A (J225)		Opaque/subtle colors can be otained	Soft	Level pour blend with good adherence to jar under optimal conditions.  Can hold up to 10-12% fragrance, including difficult fragrances (i.e. Vanilla, Cinnimmon, and Spice types). Use higher dye concentrations to achieve vibrant colors
IGI 6006A		Opaque colors with smooth/creamy appearance	Soft	Paraffin/Veg blend. Single pour blend under optimal conditions. 8-10% fragrance load can be achieved. Use wicks designed for paraffin/vegetable candle systems.
IGI 6098A		Smooth/Creamy appearance; Opaque colors and be obtained	Soft	Paraffin/Vegetable Blend. Singe pour under optimal conditions. Excellent glass adherence. 8-10% fragrance loading with excellent cold/hot throw.  Use wicks designed for paraffin/vegetable systems.

IGI blends for Pillar, Votive, and Other Molded Candles

IGI offers its EZ-FORM line, which includes PARAFFLEX^TM and other products for the manufacture of high-quality pillar, votive, and other molded type candles. Benefits from this product line include:

• Optimized for specific types of candles
• Can be used without additives (w/ exception of UV inhibitors)
• For mottling and palm waxes, QC tested to ensure proper finish
• High Consistency

PARAFFLEX 4641A		High melt point wax for molded candle applications. Smooth, opaque looks with good fragrance retention/throw.
PARAFFLEX 4614A		High melt point wax for votive candle applications. Smooth, opaque looks with good fragrance retention/throw.
